Obituary for Leroy H. Brown
Leroy H. Brown, 91, formerly of Bloomsburg, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Greenfield Living in Lansdale.
Born in Lock Haven, PA he was a son of the late Lester and Meda (Koch) Brown.
Leroy served in the United States Army and then went on to receive his master’s degree from Penn State University. He was a professor at Bloomsburg University retiring in 1992. He also volunteered with Highway Ministry at a truck stop in Buckhorn, PA.
He was an avid bowler, hunter, and fisherman; enjoyed woodworking, but he will best be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Surviving are his children, Robert L. Brown and wife, Gail of Red Hill, Thomas L. Brown of Berwick and Pamela K., wife of Tim Kesner of Mt. Storm, WV; six grandchildren, Heath, Lori, Kristen, Casandra, Brittany and Cameron; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Lester and Ronald Brown.
Services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041.
